Celebrity Team Captains matched with pro-athletes and weekend warriors compete for $250,000
THE BIG IDEA: Celebrities up close and personal reveal their true selves in the first event of its kind – the Celebrity Adventure Games™ - an exciting new competition bringing the best of reality-based adventures such as “The Great Race,” ‘”Survivor, and “Fear Factor” by blending amazing clue-strewn treasure hunts and cut–throat team tactics compressed with action-packed adventure sports elements. The big question - just how far will each Celebrity will go for their favorite charity recipient of money and prizes.
WHO: Celebrities captain their 4 person team of pro athletes and weekend warriors, through staged elimination competitions over 3 days in a gorgeous resort destination.
WHAT: A 2-hour Network television event, the Celebrity Adventure Games™ holds out for the winners $250,000 in cash, awards and prizes, with favorite charities earmarked to participate in the winnings. The Celebrity Adventure Games™ will feature secret new extreme events married with traditional adventure and action sports such as mountain biking, rappelling, trekking, flat-water paddling, dragon boat racing, swimming, kick-scootering, horseback-riding, power-parachuting, while combining SUV-based GPS assisted navigating, and ATV and personal water craft water events. Participants race from venue to venue, staged across a secret course around the awesome features of a top resort destination with casino life nearby. Casino high rollers will join with other celebrities to judge the achievements of the approximately fifteen starting teams. Competitors will pull out all the stops to survive the day holding on to a chance at the $250,000.
ASSOCIATED EVENTS: A headliner music concert and adventure festival and VIP parties round out the exciting weekend that will draw spectators and visitors to the dramatic backdrop of a famous resort destination - all being filmed for a two-hour Network television special.
WHEN: The Celebrity Adventure Games™ run over three days (Friday-Sunday) for the actual Games, plus weekend activities including the headliner entertainment concert and Adventure Festival during the designated weekend.
